- An attractive, half-hardy, evergreen, succulent perennial with loose rosette of long, thin, pale grey-green leaves. The leaves have rose coloured tips. Pachyphytum hookeri is a sculptural plant, ideal for decorative indoor containers. It produces dark pink flowers, on long stems, in spring and summer.
Care: Pachyphytum hookeri is low maintenance, and drought tolerant when mature. Water when the medium has dried out completely. Let the water drain freely. Never allow the plant to sit in water.
- Growing conditions: Well draining, sandy medium in full sun or part shade. Can be placed outdoors in warm weather. Should be brought indoors when the temperature falls below 10 C.
